Eligibility : AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions before applying.
Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
Diploma Apprentice
- Full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
ITI Trade Apprentice
- ITI/NCVT Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Only candidates who completed their qualifying course in 2024 or later are eligible.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 26 Years
Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other reserved categories will be provided as per Government of India rules.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Only candidates who are domiciles of the North Eastern Region (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, or Tripura) can apply.
- Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship or have one year or more of work experience after obtaining their qualification are not eligible.
Salary Details (Important) : AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the rules of the Airports Authority of India.
During the apprenticeship, candidates will get:
- Monthly stipend as per apprenticeship norms
- Practical training at AAI airports
- Hands-on industry experience
- Exposure to airport operations and engineering systems
