The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26 is a CSR initiative jointly undertaken by Kotak Mahindra Group companies and the Kotak Education Foundation. The main objective of this scholarship is to support meritorious girl students from financially weaker families and empower them to pursue higher education in professional courses after Class 12.
Under this scheme, selected girl students will receive financial assistance of up to ₹1.5 lakh per year to cover educational expenses such as tuition fees, hostel charges, laptops, books, and other academic costs until the completion of their graduation degree.
This program aims to build future women leaders by ensuring that financial constraints do not stop talented young girls from achieving their dreams.
Eligibility Criteria for Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2025-26
Applicants must meet the following conditions to be considered:
- Open to meritorious girl students across India.
- Must have scored at least 75% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in Class 12 board exams.
- Applicant’s annual family income should be less than ₹6,00,000.
- Admission must be secured in the first year of graduation (2025-26) in professional courses such as:
- Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years)
- Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research (at ISER, IISc Bangalore, or similar institutes)
- Design, Architecture, and other NAAC/NIRF-accredited professional programs
- Children of employees working with Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation, or Buddy4Study are not eligible.
